The W.T. and Louise J. Moran Health Center, John S. Dunn Building is an impressive, inviting and efficient new facility that appropriately combines form and function. Designed by world-renowned Morris Architects, the "Moran Health Center," stands as an impressive, enduring testament to the continuing advancement of CHRISTUS Foundation's mission.
Friends and supporters gathered at Reef restaurant on July 21, 2009 as we celebrated two important events in the life of our Midtown Health Center. First and foremost, the center was formally christened the W.T. and Louise J. Moran Health Center, John S. Dunn Building, in recognition of the two cornerstone gifts making the center possible. Second, attendees celebrated the topping-out of the three-level structure.
Bikers and nuns were all the rage on October 18 at the 2008 Nun Run. Over 140 bikers, friends, and supporters joined us at the Villa de Matel for breakfast, live music, and a blessing of the bikes; they then rode off to Sudie’s Catfish and Seafood House for lunch and awards. More than $91,000 was raised to benefit CHRISTUS Southwest Community Health Center.

Join us on Saturday, October 16, 2010 for a fifty-mile, Blue Knight police-escorted motorcycle ride from Houston to Galveston. The 2010 Nun Run benefits the children and families of CHRISTUS school-based clinics. Your donation will help provide flu vaccines, health education and screenings, back-to-school supplies and the promise of a brighter Christmas.
Non-riders can participate by pledging or donating gifts in support of the adventurous nuns. Proceeds directly benefit the children and families cared for by CHRISTUS ministries. There will be awards, prizes, breakfast, lunch and rides! Sidecars welcome.
