On February 17, 2011, Prudential and CHRISTUS Foundation Corporate Partners hosted a cooking class and networking reception at Americas restaurant's new River Oaks location on West Gray.
While guests readied themselves for a bit of fun in the kitchen, Prudential's Catherine Simpson and Manny Aragon discussed career opportunities with their company. Elisabeth Urtado-Holzheauser, Director of Development for CHRISTUS Foundation, described the strides being made at CHRISTUS school based clinics and throughout CHRISTUS Foundation ministries. David Cordua, Executive Chef of Americas led eager cooks in assembling ceviche. Those who chose to donate to CHRISTUS Foundation received handy culinary tools as a "thank you."
