Join us on Saturday, May 19th for the Under the Big Top Gala, benefiting the Cronin & Brauer Cleft Palate Clinic's Operation San José. Gala Co-Charis for this always popular evening are Mr. & Mrs. Don Earthman and Mr. & Mrs. Dennis Malloy. This year's celebration will honor Dr. Raymond Brauer, who passed away in September of 2011.

St. Mary's First Five Months Set Astounding Pace
In January, CHRISTUS St. Mary's Clinic completed its fifth month of service to a Houston community in need, near I-45 South and Wayside. The clinic saw nearly 3,000 patients in an incredibly short time period and performed nearly 5,000 laboratory tests. As the hub for the CHRISTUS Healthy Neighborhood Initiative, St. Mary's is setting an impressive pace in its service to Houston's underserved and uninsured patients.

Donor Funds Four New School Based Clinics
A wonderful couple has just committed to a generous challenge gift of $150,000 to help fund the expansion of CHRISTUS Foundation's School-based Clinics - the four new School Based Clinics will be located within Queen of Peace, St. Augustine, St. Mary of the Purification and Assumption. These schools are located in medically under-served neighborhoods and they have no school nurse. If you support education and health care for children, this is your opportunity to help make this expansion possible. SMART Financial Credit Union has made a donation of $40,000 to CHRISTUS Health Foundation in support of CHRISTUS Foundation for HealthCare, CHRISTUS St. Catherine, CHRISTUS St. John and CHRISTUS Health-St. Elizabeth Hospitals. Their generosity will help CHRISTUS Health continue its on-going community outreach programs in the greater Houston, Katy, Clear Lake and Beaumont areas. Employee Community Fund of Boeing-Houston Gives $15,000
CHRISTUS Foundation for HealthCare has received a generous $15,000 gift from the Employee Community Fund of Boeing-Houston. The community-based health center, CHRISTUS Point of Light Clinic, will use the greatly needed donation to provide better access to healthcare, including prescription assistance and health education for the Dickinson, Texas community. H&R Block Makes Inaugural $25,000 Donation
In July of 2011, a generous contribution of $25,000 from H&R Block Tax Services was the first gift received by the Corporate Partners in Health Initiative. These funds are designated to assist two CHRISTUS ministries – the Healthy Living Mobile Clinic and our School Based Clinics.
