Nun Run 2013
Join us for the 9th annual Nun Run - Just imagine you and 349 of your newest friends riding down to Galveston on motorcycles together to benefit children in need of healthcare. Every dollar donated to the Nun Run helps keep children healthy! Annually, more than 5,000 children seek care from one of 16 in-school clinics located in low-income communities throughout greater Houston.

Second Healthy Living Mobile Clinic Vehicle Added
The CHRISTUS Healthy Living Mobile Clinic program has added a new unit which will greatly increase its outreach and expand services to keep pace with the health needs of our ever-growing City. In the last ten years the mobile clinic has grown from providing health care to 8,000 people in 2002 to more than 18,000 people in 2012, including minorities, the elderly and the poor.
St. Mary's Challenge
$150,000 Challenge Grant Sparks Expansion Effort
CHRISTUS Foundation for HealthCare is delighted to announce CHRISTUS St. Mary’s Challenge. An anonymous benefactor has pledged $150,000 towards the expansion of the Clinic. H&R Block Reinforces Support
H&R Block has recommitted its corporate partnership with CHRISTUS Foundation for HealthCare through a generous $50,000 gift. This grant will greatly contribute to men, women and children, providing them access to healthcare from CHRISTUS Healthy Living Mobile Clinics, CHRISTUS School-based Clinics, CHRISTUS St. Mary’s Clinic in Houston’s East End, and Point of Light Clinic in Dickinson. H&R Block has been a corporate partner since 2010, financially supporting and volunteering countless hours.
Wells Fargo Fuels Mobile Clinic
Wells Fargo has graciously donated $25,000 to CHRISTUS Corporate Partners in Health. Their generous gift to the CHRISTUS Healthy Living Mobile Clinic will provide healthcare services including health screenings, immunizations and health education to medically underserved areas without access to healthcare throughout the greater Houston area.
SMART Financial Credit Union Contributes $40,000
SMART Financial Credit Union has made a donation of $40,000 to CHRISTUS Health Foundation in support of CHRISTUS Foundation for HealthCare, CHRISTUS St. Catherine, CHRISTUS St. John and CHRISTUS Health-St. Elizabeth Hospitals. Their generosity will help CHRISTUS Health continue its on-going community outreach programs in the greater Houston, Katy, Clear Lake and Beaumont areas. Thanks to our Corporate Partners, CHRISTUS Foundation can better deliver high-quality healthcare to the under-served in our community.
Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas Donates $10,000
Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas helps Keep Kids Healthy with their generous donation of $10,000 to CHRISTUS School-based Clinics. This generous investment in the health and wellness of our children will help the School-based Clinics provide medical and preventive health services, including nutrition education and making healthy lifestyle choices that can combat childhood obesity and other at risk behaviors.
