Health needs come in many forms, and they have many faces. Men and women. Young and old. Rich and poor. Indeed, we all find ourselves with health needs at some time. But for many among us, needs are more than occasional. And very often they’re unaffordable. These are the men, women and children we seek to serve. Because so many need us, we need you.

As little as 13 cents a day can mean a dozen children get needed antibiotics. Twenty-five cents can provide wellness exams for three elderly women. Fifty cents will mean a schoolboy finally gets the eye glasses that correct and clear his vision. Just think what 75 cents can do. But first we need to get the coins from your pocket to ours. Will you help us?

Whether your philanthropic interests lie in the area of health, literacy, nutrition or transition, we have the programs to rally round. Each of them is faith-based. Each of them is mission-driven. Each of them is changing lives. And for all of them, our Foundation serves as the principal planning, fundraising and community-building resource. Please join us in our expanding enterprise.

Join us on Saturday, October 16, 2010 for a fifty-mile, police-escorted motorcycle ride from Houston to Galveston. The 2010 Nun Run benefits the children and families of CHRISTUS school-based clinics. Your donation will help provide flu vaccines, health education and screenings, back-to-school supplies and the promise of a brighter Christmas.

Four new CHRISTUS School-Based Clinics were recently equipped and staffed courtesy of a generous donation from Houstonians Tom and Nancy Macrini, through the Thomas G. and Nancy J. Macrini Foundation. These clinics provide direct healthcare to students and families who may otherwise be without these essential services.
