Mammogram Mondays at CHRISTUS St. Catherine Hospital now welcomes Fort Bend Family Health Center to the group of clinics supported by this community outreach program. Fort Bend Family Health Center serves women in the greater Fort Bend County area west of Houston.

Mammogram Mondays will benefit FBFHC patients from its main clinic location in Richmond, as well as women who are seen at their Brookshire satellite clinic. FBFHC joins Christ Clinic and Breath of Life Clinic as partners of CHRISTUS St. Catherine Hospital in this program.

Mammogram Mondays is a community outreach program of CHRISTUS St. Catherine Hospital that offers mammograms to uninsured or underinsured women who are patients of local area clinics such as Breath of Life Clinic, Christ Clinic and Fort Bend Family Health Center. Women receive an order for a mammogram at the clinic and are given a Mammogram Monday voucher to have a screening mammogram done on a Monday in each month.

The St. Catherine Breast Cancer Awareness Fund will allot monies annually to this program.  Services covered are as follows:

• Bilateral Digital Screening Mammogram        
• Physician Interpretation/Reading Cost       

Should there be an outcome of the mammogram that requires additional follow up the Fund ensures the following test will be covered:

• Unilateral Ultrasound of the Breast        
• Physician Interpretation/Reading Cost        

Funding for this program will be generated through:

• Celebrate Your Princess Breast Cancer Awareness Walk proceeds
• Grant requests to Foundations and Charitable Organizations
• Gifts from Individuals – Restricted
• General Unrestricted Funds
• Associates Campaign Funds: Radiology – Women’s Services

Funding will increase annually which will increase the number of mammograms we are able to provide.
