Community Campaign
The Community Campaign seeks to raise the final $4 million needed to furnish, equip, landscape the new Health Center, and pay for the property. This phase will provide the finishing touches to the Health Center.
Since 2006 CHRISTUS Foundation for HealthCare has been working to put in place a modern health center where men, women and children could access top-quality, affordable medical and dental care—and extend CHRISTUS Health’s legacy of caring.
Now, it’s happening. Our new ministry location is slated to begin operations in winter 2009. A Midtown collaboration of our Foundation, Houston’s historic San José Clinic and Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, the W.T. and Louise J. Moran Health Center, John S. Dunn Building will quickly and dramatically improve healthcare access for many thousands of uninsured and under served Houstonians. The center will also become the new base for our CHRISTUS Healthy Living Mobile Clinic.
We’re hoping you’ll put the finishing touches on this remarkable new health center.

A special feature of the new Midtown center will be its uniquely personal entranceway, landscaping, rest areas and interior spaces. Here, we’re offering you, our donors, opportunities to permanently honor friends and loved ones, celebrate birthdays, holidays, graduations and other occasions, or recognize an organization important to you. As you do, you’ll provide the funds needed to furnish and equip the health center, while creating an enduring symbol of your support for extending the healing ministry of Jesus Christ.

2010 Nun Run
Saturday, October 16, 2010
Join us on Saturday, October 16, 2010 for a fifty-mile, Blue Knight police-escorted motorcycle ride from Houston to Galveston. The 2010 Nun Run benefits the children and families of CHRISTUS school-based clinics. Your donation will help provide flu vaccines, health education and screenings, back-to-school supplies and the promise of a brighter Christmas.
Non-riders can participate by pledging or donating gifts in support of the adventurous nuns. Proceeds directly benefit the children and families cared for by CHRISTUS ministries. There will be awards, prizes, breakfast, lunch and rides! Sidecars welcome.
