Need has no physical, spiritual or ethnic boundaries. It arrives wearing faces that are young and old, from all regions of our world, and at all times of year.
Indeed, we all find ourselves in need at some time.
At the CHRISTUS Foundation for Healthcare, we exist to address human needs by serving as a fundraising resource for 10 remarkable ministries in the Houston-Galveston area.
Our ministries reach out and attend to any and all, and with particularly open arms to those confronting their needs at a disadvantage, such as education that’s limited, income that’s low, or a language they don’t yet speak.
To all these, we offer access to Christ’s love and healing—manifest in the hearts, hands and minds of hundreds of remarkable people in special places across our Gulf Coast community.
This is our ministry. This is our legacy. And this is our story.

CHRISTUS Foundation for HealthCare is exempt from Federal Income Tax under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, granted in May 1966.

Saturday, October 16, 2010
Join us on Saturday, October 16, 2010 for a fifty-mile, Blue Knight police-escorted motorcycle ride from Houston to Galveston. The 2010 Nun Run benefits the children and families of CHRISTUS school-based clinics. Your donation will help provide flu vaccines, health education and screenings, back-to-school supplies and the promise of a brighter Christmas.
Non-riders can participate by pledging or donating gifts in support of the adventurous nuns. Proceeds directly benefit the children and families cared for by CHRISTUS ministries. There will be awards, prizes, breakfast, lunch and rides! Sidecars welcome.
