Services

Through medical and surgical intervention, patients with cleft palate and craniofacial anomalies can improve their physical condition and look forward to a brighter, healthier future. Whether the deformities of a patient are congenital or acquired, and whether the patient is a child or an adult, the Cronin & Brauer clinic offers the highest standard of multidisciplinary care and treatment.

The clinic provides treatment for patients with

  • Congenital cranial and facial deformities, such as cleft lip/palate
  • Traumatic facial disfigurement incurred through injury or surgery
  • Developmental distortion from excessive or restricted growth of facial parts, such as the upper and lower jaw

Since 1983, a dedicated team of Cronin & Brauer volunteers has made annual trips to Central and South America to provide free surgical repair of cranial and facial birth defects as part of “Operation San José.”

Operation San José Gala – Making an Impact on the Lives of Others

On Saturday, April 24, 2010 at Marriott Houston, Dr. and Mrs. Ernest D. Cronin hosted the biennial Under the Canopy of the Rainforest Gala, benefitting Operation San José Mission Project; a medical volunteer and goodwill program devoted to the care of indigent patients in developing countries who are born with congenital cleft lip and plate facial deformities. Since 1983, a dedicated team of medical professionals has been traveling to different Latin American countries to provide surgical repair of these birth defects.
