Far away from sterile operating rooms, bustling ERs and hushed hospital suites, a 40-foot GMC Lifeline vehicle—emblazoned with the CHRISTUS symbol, serves a province of streets, parking lots, schools and nursing homes.

Since 1992 the CHRISTUS Healthy Living Mobile Clinic has provided health care, health education and basic social services for Houstonians who do not generally have access to mainstream health care. The clinic on wheels reaches communities in medically underserved areas, serving Houstonians with compassion and dedication.
