These days, many schools have no healthcare support. Often, because a child’s family has no insurance, he or she receives healthcare only when an injury or illness occurs. CHRISTUS Foundation is improving this picture by supporting school-based clinics in ten Houston-area schools and three Dickinson ISD schools.

CHRISTUS school based clinic services are available in Houston and three underserved communities south of the city – Dickinson, Bacliff and Bay Shores. Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston schools include Holy Ghost, Our Lady of Fatima, Our Lady of Guadalupe, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, Resurrection School, St. Christopher, St. Pius V and St. Francis of Assisi. Yellowstone Academy in 3rd Ward is also served. Dickinson ISD schools include Bay Colony Elementary, Hughes Road Elementary, K.E. Little Elementary, San Leon Elementary and Dickinson High School.
