Sister Ricca Dimalibot, M.D., CHRISTUS Point of Light
CHRISTUS Point of Light Clinic’s primary physician, Sister Ricca Dimalibot was born and raised in the Philippines.
Sr. Ricca earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Technology and graduated as a Medical Doctor from Our Lady of Fatima College of Medicine. In addition, Sr. Ricca holds a Master of Arts Degree in Theology from Aquinas Institute of Theology in St. Louis, Missouri.
Sr. Ricca completed her residency in Family Medicine at CHRISTUS St. Joseph Hospital and at The Methodist Hospital, both in Houston, TX. Upon completing her residency, Sr. Ricca became board certified in family medicine. Before joining the CHRISTUS family, Sr. Ricca worked as a physician in both Africa and Central America.
Andres obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, FL. Andres practiced as an Intensive Care Unit RN for 7 years before going back to school to get a Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. Andres also has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from Southwestern Adventist University.
Andres plays a major role at Point of Light clinic assisting Dr. Ricca in caring for the many patients Point of Light serves daily. Andres also assists the CHRISTUS School Clinics on a remote basis, through the use of tele-medicine, and with health promotion programs.
Andres hobbies are reading, playing video games with his children, and playing music.
